Travel to Portugal under age

March 31, 2010 in Information office

If you are traveling to Portugal under age, pay attention to the documents you need to bring along.

In Portugal you are under age, if you aren’t yet 18. That means someone must be responsible for you.

If you are under 18, you should know that you can only enter the country, if accompanied by one or both your parents or by your legal guardian. You can fly on your own, but there will have to be someone in Portugal with a legal authorization from your parents or legal guardian, that will be responsible for you while in Portugal.
